Top 5 Horribly Healthy Snacks for Halloween

Get in the Halloween spirit and make snacks that are freakishly fun for the Halloween party you're throwing or for the kids.

Check out how you can create these ghoulish edible treats. They take no time at all. 

 

You’ll need:

Kiwis

Satsumas

Sweet potatoes

Cucumber

Carrot sticks

Celery

Bananas

Cacao nibs

A decent knife 

 

Frankenstein Kiwi Heads

Remove all the skin apart from the head, which you want to turn into a jagged Frankenstein hair-do using a knife. Use cacao nibs to place features and carrot sticks for head bolts.

Cucumber Skulls

Make your cucumbers ghoulish and decorate with grated carrot features to liven up the salad at dinner. If you’ve got a bigger cucumber, you could try and carve skull features into the cucumber slices using your knife.

Ghostly Banana

Peel your bananas and slice them in half; decorate with cacao nibs and raisins for ghostly features. You could even part-peel then cover up the faces inside the skins.

Pumpkin Satsumas

Peel your satsumas and pop a celery stick in the top for your pumpkin stalk. Adorn the mantelpiece with these orange delights or share them with trick or treaters.

Scary Sweet Potato Faces

Cut the potatoes into thick slices. Use a knife to cut out faces and stars into the slices and dust with some paprika for flavor. Pop in the oven for 30 mins (or until cooked).
